A quickie I had started yesterday and I have finished tonight. It's a speedpainting compared to my other works
I've spent 8 hours on it so I couldn't do a very detailed work.

Different from my usual "sad ladies with long dress" paintings ^^

It's some kind of a "commissioned" work (though I've only done it for fun for a friend who wanted to look like a pirate)

I've used a grid for proportions to make it look similar to the photo (small one unfortunately so it has been a little bit difficult)
then I've put the photo on the top in the end to fix the proportions issues and I've been surprised to see that the grid method was far from being perfect! (I was tired though ^^) My friend wanted an almost photorealistic image so I had to match the reference as close as possible (it was very small though...)

Clothes, ropesand background are from imagination, I've taken a look at some moon pics to make it look right.

I've worked on 3 layers : one for the bg, one for the figure and one for the ropes.
